Patience Wheatcroft is a British national and graduate in law from the University of Birmingham. She is a financial commentator and journalist and has been a member of the House of Lords since 2011.
Ms. Wheatcroft currently serves as a non-executive director of the wealth management company St. James’s Place PLC.
Ms. Wheatcroft has a broad range of experience in the media and corporate world with past positions at the Wall Street Journal Europe, where she was Editor-in-Chief, The Sunday Telegraph, The Times, Mail on Sunday, as well as serving as non-executive director of Barclays Group PLC and Shaftesbury PLC.
Finally, Ms. Wheatcroft served on the board of trustees of the British Museum until 2018.
Ms. Wheatcroft was appointed to the Board of Directors of Fiat S.p.A. on 4 April 2012 and became a member of the Board of Directors of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V. on 12 October 2014.
